There is no minimum for eggs — a single tray is fine. Chicks are sold in multiples of 50 from the hatchery, and feeds are sold by the 50kg bag or by the tonne.
Absolutely. We walk new farmers through housing, brooding, feeding programmes and vaccination schedules — free of charge, for as long as you keep birds.
